DMK is proud to be overseeing a series of solar carport projects across the Chino Hills area of Southern California on behalf of our Owner’s Rep clients. These projects typically range from six to twelve weeks in duration, depending on size and design, and play a key role in augmenting each site’s overall power demand.
While not intended to power entire buildings, these systems provide sustainable electricity for critical everyday needs such as parking lot lighting, building hallways, restrooms, and convenience outlets. By easing utility loads in this way, property owners reduce costs while gaining added value through vehicle and equipment protection from the elements.
Construction consists of 24-inch diameter caissons drilled into the ground, supporting a robust steel superstructure topped with cold-formed light-gauge steel. Solar panels are then secured on top to complete the system.
With tax incentives set to phase out, DMK is seeing a strong push to get these projects completed on accelerated timelines. Our team is proud to help clients maximize today’s opportunities while creating lasting, energy-efficient infrastructure for tomorrow.
