Today was nothing short of extraordinary. DMK Project Solutions had the opportunity to visit Last Energy’s facility in Washington, DC, and witness firsthand the future of clean energy innovation.
Standing before the Small Modular Reactor (SMR) model, we were struck not only by its compact design but by what it represents—a tangible step toward transforming how the world powers critical infrastructure. The majority of the SMR will be buried and about 12 feet would be above ground.
For the data center industry, which demands ever-increasing energy reliability, efficiency, and sustainability, the promise of on-site nuclear power is no longer a distant vision—it’s becoming a real, achievable solution.
